This month has not been particularly good for me – discovered my boyfriend had been cheating on me, my grandma was diagnosed with cancer and my workplace is making hefty cuts meaning I have less money coming in. Despite all of this, one of my friends has taken the trouble to post little jokes on my facebook, and texts me to make sure I am ok. Still having friends who care and go out of their way to keep you happy MMD![]()

Today my darling was at work and I sent a text saying I had baked for him. He joked about me being his favourite girlfriend this week. I recently started working as a CNA at a local hospital. I've not had a lot of hands on experience with patients so was quite nervous about how I would do. Yesterday, near the end of another exhausting 12 hour shift, an elderly lady I'd been taking care of gave me a hug, invited me to her house for dinner, and told me how amazed she was that she could become so close to someone in such a short time. Knowing that I'd made a sick woman happy touched my heart and MMD.

Yesterday was my friend/coworker's and my last day at work. Having to say goodbye made me really upset. It must've showed when I got home because my brother picked up my puppy and plopped her on my lap, saying "You need her". The remarkable thing about this? My brother has Asperger's and doesn't usually notice my emotions. Knowing that he's making progress really MMD.

I work as a clerk at the local 7-11, and I have plantar fasciitis which makes it hurt for me to stand and even walk home after work. Every night, though, one of the neighborhood kitties meets me on the way home for cuddles and leg rubs. It always MMD to have her meet me on the way home from work.
