After I got up this morning after my boyfriend left for school. When I left the bedroom I saw an arrow on the floor, it pointed to another one and then a few more. At the end of the chain was “I <3 U!" -IMMD

After a paricularly hard week at school, I went to visit my cousins about four hours away. In the middle of the night, for absolutely no reason, we decided to go out on the golf course they live on and have a water balloon fight, and following that, decided to jump into the pool- with all of our clothes on. A few months ago my friends and I formed a band and played in the school talent show. One of the songs we covered was 12:51 by the Strokes. A few weeks later, a girl at school told me that she became a Strokes fan because of us. IMMD.

Today, while driving home from school, I watched a truck block three lanes of traffic, just so a timid-looking little boy could run safely across. It may have made my a few minutes late for work but it totally made my day.

This week, after six years of school and a lot of part time jobs, I achieved my child hood dream of becoming a paid teacher. The job is hard, three of my kids don't speak english, and my department head scares me…and I've never been happier. I'm a teacher now, I'm going to eat these challanges and s**t pedagogy.

So today, I was walking through the hallway at school to get to my next class. Walking the opposite way? A girl wearing a Link hat. IMMD.
For years, I've been struggling in school due to agoraphobia (fear of masses of people) and social anxiety. Last year, I started in a new school and was terrified all the time, until one of my class mates decided to take me under her wing. Today, I'm getting higher grades, I'm able to work in groups and overall happy, thanks to this one kind soul. IMMY!
