I was babysitting my little sister the other day. She’s 12, and she wanted to watch a movie on netflix. I suggested Doctor Who because I’ve been waiting for a chance to show it to her for a long time. She said, “Sure, whatever” sounding like she wasn’t really excited about the prospect. I played the first episode of the Christopher Eccleston season and she loved it. She wanted to watch more right away. She can’t get enough of it now. My little sister becoming a Doctor Who nerd like me MMD!

funny win story - Harry Potter MMD!

I spent all day yesterday trying to get tickets to a midnight showing of Harry Potter tonight. Turns out every theater in my town is sold out. I resigned myself to waiting until tomorrow or later this weekend. My boyfriend called and told me he had a surprise for me. Turned out he had bought tickets last week and was waiting until today to tell me. IMMD!

Harry Potter always makes our day. Apparently, he makes a lot of yours too!

I was having a pretty crappy day at school, when I saw a bunch of rules written on the classroom’s whiteboard. Rule #1: Any mention of Twilight will NOT be tolerated. Number two was blank, then #3 said: Seriously. There is no fight club.

I’m a swimming teacher and I have a difficult 5-year-old who has trouble grasping the concept of kicking her legs straight. So I told her to keep them straight, just like the Little Mermaid. Straight-faced, the little girl turned and told me, "I want to be the octopus" and IMMD (and her Mum’s too!)
