As I was waiting for my friend this morning, a 7 year old boy ran in front of me wearing a Batman cape and mask. Then I heard his mum shouting at him to not run, and the kid yelled "Batman ALWAYS runs!" and legged it away across the car park – TMMD :3

Today after doing storytime, for a small group of kids at work. I had a little boy come up to me, give me a hug, and say thank you for the stories! It totally MMD!!
Obesity-busting effort garners medal for Ill. School
Northeast Elementary Magnet School in economically struggling Danville, Ill. became the first elementary school to receieve a medal from the Alliance for a Healthier Generation for their efforts to make students healthier. Not only do students have gym class every day, exercise and nutrition are weaved into other lessons throughout the day. Kindergartners dance to the alphabet, third-graders learn math by twisting their bodies, and fifth-graders learn to calculate calories.
One parent says the program has had an amazing influence on her kids, 10-year-old Kayla and 5-year-old Carter.
“They’ve come home requesting fruits and vegetables they used to reject. Carter was thrilled to make frozen fruit shish kebobs in school, and Kayla was so excited the other day because she made her goal in running the mile and she was so happy that she knocked down her time from last year,” Black said
i work in a cafe/kids indoor play center, yesterday a little boy came up with a popper and $2 to pay for it, i gave him his change and told him to enjoy his drink, he rode a few steps on the bike he was on before turning back and telling me to enjoy my work. IMMD

Tam Valley Crossing Guard Saved Student
Last Tuesday at Tam Valley Elementary School, crossing guard Jeff James saved a young boy from being hit by a car. James was helping kids cross the street to get to school that morning when a boy broke away from his dad and ran into the street, directly into the path of a large black SUV. James dove in front of the car and hurled his stop sign at it to make it stop. He landed directly in front of the SUV’s tires, ensuring the boy would not be hit.
James then got back up and returned to his post. For the rest of the day, parents thanked him profusely. One even gave him her strawberry rhubarb crumple.
“You would have done the same thing,” James told them.
