This weekend I took my roommate to her first garage sale ever. Not only did she find some awesome stuff, but I found a pair of broken headphones for $1, a little work and they are as good as new. Not having to pay a ton of money for noise cancelling headphones and watching my roommate experience the fun of garage sailing MMD.

I have visited my mom's grave frequently since she died nearly two years ago. Yesterday, while I was telling her about my daughter's birthday party, I started laughing because I knew she would have thought my story was hilarious. It was the first time I've had a taste of the fun we used to have since she left. IMMD.

After a paricularly hard week at school, I went to visit my cousins about four hours away. In the middle of the night, for absolutely no reason, we decided to go out on the golf course they live on and have a water balloon fight, and following that, decided to jump into the pool- with all of our clothes on. When I was six years old, my dad told me to rake the leaves in the yard for the first time. I had my own me-sized rake and he came out to help me and show me how. After we finished, we had a big pile of leaves. My dad chased me around the pile and then picked me up and threw me into it. The leaves were so soft, and I just remember laughing so hard. I still think about that day. Dad, you always mmd.

I was driving back up to university from home. For the most part, it’s a pretty boring drive. There’s one part towards the end though, where there’s a clearing in the forest right next to the road. It’s always so beautiful, I have to look every time I pass it. Today, I pulled over and just ran around and laid in the grass for a few minutes. Having a pit of fun before getting back up to school MMD!

Today, I drove my friend up to the dealership where her car had some repairs done. She kept thanking me for going out of my way, but really it was the hours I got to spend with her in the car and wandering around town that was the real joy. The random conversations, food and time we hung out together MMD.

I was on vacation with my family and they signed my sister and I up for surfing lessons. I’d never done it before, and I fell into the water a lot. But by the end of the first day, I was standing up and balancing and having the time of my life. Learning to surf mmvacation.
