Cheska’s Little Moment of Win

Oct. 24, 2011

My best friend's nan recently died and she wanted me to go to the funeral with her. I was a bit worried because (while i was close to a few of her family members) i hadm't met half the people there, but i went as emotional support for my friend. She was really happy and knowing i could be there for my best friend MMD and im sure it made hers too!!

Dos’s Little Moment of Win

Oct. 24, 2011

I'm a single mom. My son, who is 4 loves to draw me and himself in pictures. I've been with this wonderful guy for almost a year now. My son came home last week with a bunch of pictures with not two, but three stick people in them. I told my boyfriend jokingly "you can't go anywhere now. My kid says you're part of the family."
Today he started talking about marriage. Totally MMD!!!

My sweet little cousin’s Little Moment of Win

Oct. 19, 2011

funny win story - My sweet little cousin's Little Moment of Win

My 9-year-old cousin is being raised by a single father, my uncle, so our entire family has had a hand in helping him out this past year (by doing everything from baby and petsitting, house hunting, financial support, and of course endless emotional support and lovingly homemade meals, etc.) When I went to pick up my cousin from school the other day, the first thing he asked was, “Daddy’s taking my sister to the father/daughter dance. Since my mom’s not here, can you please take me to the mommy/son dance?” I was raised without a father, and my granddad always took me to the father’s day breakfasts at my elementary school. Knowing that I’ve been given the chance to provide that same kind of love and security, and maybe help fill that gap left by a missing parent, is pretty amazing. And knowing that my cousin recognizes that massive amount of love I have for him, absolutely MML!

Trauma_Queen’s Little Moment of Win

Oct. 6, 2011

I went to my sister's house today to help her out with my nephews and my cousin's children. As we were watching a movie and I was holding the baby, my youngest nephew(2 years old) climbed in my lap and fell asleep holding the baby's hand. Being surrounded by my family and feeling so much love in the home totally MMD. <3

Lone Berlin Bear’s Little Moment of Win

Oct. 1, 2011

I am from Cologne, Germany, currently studying in Berlin, which is about 600 km (ca. 370 mi) apart and I am feeling homesick from time to time. But today I had phonecalls from all my family back home. I talked to them for hours… Knowing they are thinking of me just as often as I do of them MMD!
