Mariachi Band Serenades Music-Loving Beluga Whale
A mariachi band had an unexpected audience member while playing a wedding held at the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut. Juno, a playful beluga whale apparently heard the music and swam to the window of his tank to investigate. Beluga whales are known for their singing, and are able to hear what is going on outside their tank so there is little doubt that Juno was aware of the music. He even started dancing, mimicking the motions of the mariachi players.
“Juno is extremely playful, so the mariachi band must have piqued his curiosity,” the whales’ senior trainer said. “The two females (with whom Juno shares the tank) might have stayed away since he was hogging the window.”

I work at an Assisted Living Residency. Today, the residents had an ice cream social. Seeing the residents (most of them Dementia & Alzheimer's patients) eating ice cream, dancing, & singing group karaoke seriously MMD!!!
