Today I saw a cute guy, and mustered up the courage to smile at him. He smiled back at me and ran in to a pole, dropping half of his books. Total confidence boost, I laughed harder than I think I have in a long while helping him up. IMMD!

When I caught a feral kitten 2 years ago everyone told me she would always be wild and mean. Turns out she is sweet and gentle. They told me she would never be trainable, but now she walks on a leash and visits nursing homes as a therapy pet. Every time I see the residents faces I am proud of her and it MMD.
Amazing story of the clever cat who led RSPCA rescuer to her kittens
RSPCA inspector Jon Knight received a call to rescue a young cat who was thrown from a car in Cambridgeshire last month. The caller had been monitoring and feeding the cat, and managed to confine her in a green house. The cat was taken to a vet and treated for her injuries as well as fleas and worms, and given food. As it was clear she only recently had kittens, she needed to be returned to her location so she could get back to them as soon as possible.
Knight took her back to the green house and she started meowing at him. At first, Knight thought she was calling for her kittens, but he soon realized she wanted him to follow her. She led him across fields and gardens all the while calling back and waiting for him to follow. She led him to an old barn. Behind a sack of wood, there were four kittens.
Jolie, as she is now called, and her kittens are now staying at the RSPCA Block Fen Animal Centre. They will remain there until they are fit and healthy enough to be adopted.
“Jolie had been through an awful lot, but she showed real maternal instinct and determination, she really is a remarkable cat,” Kight said.
Timon the meerkat and Pumbaa the micro pig form unlikeliest of friendships
A meerkat and micro pig became unlikely friends after being born withing weeks of each other at Tropical Inc., an educational animal display company in Worcestershire. After seeing them interact, their handlers decided they had to be named Timon and Pumbaa, after the characters from Disney’s “The Lion King.” At first, there was a small chicken wire fence separating the pair, but Timon, as outgoing and curious as his namesake, did everything he could to get through to Pumbaa.
Now, they are rarely ever apart. They play and run around together, and everyone who sees them comments on their similarity to the characters from the film.
“They showed great interest in each other from the start, almost like they were meant to be friends,” said Kelly Shambly, who helps run Tropical Inc. “It is an extremely odd friendship, but it is great to see the two animals paired together who would never get the chance to ever meet in the wild.”
