USF Bulls offensive lineman Danous Estenor lifts car to free trapped man
University of South Florida Offensive Lineman Danous Estenor was about to grab a bite to eat at the cafe on campus when he heard a woman screaming for help. Across the parking lot, he found a tow truck driver named Pedro Arzola pinned under the rear tire of a Cadillac Seville. Arzola’s wife was working with two other men to lift the car, but it wasn’t moving. Estenor, one of the strongest players on the USF team had to step in.
“I tried to lift the car, and when I first tried, it didn’t budge. I backed up. I don’t know. But I felt this energy come, and I lifted it. I don’t know how, but somebody pulled him from the car.”
Miraculously, Arzola was fine. He sustained only cuts, bruises, and a dislocated shoulder. He was back driving tow trucks within two weeks.
