Seven months ago I took on the responsibility of caring for my 19 year old severely autistic brother. He doesn't talk very much and prefers to be alone. Today while eating dinner he gave me a hug and told me thank you for letting him live with me. IMMD

A very dear friend of mine who struggled with a lifelong illness passed away just over a year ago. We were very close and I was sitting in my car yesterday reminiscing a little, when that old song "Bright Sunshiney Day" came on the radio. Being reminded that he's at peace and free from pain make me cry a little but also MMD.

At the grocery store today a flustered elderly lady realized she didn't have enough money for her groceries. The next three people in line each chipped in $5 so she didn't have to put back anything. Spontaneous generosity from strangers MMD.

In 4 days my maternal grandparents will be married for 65 years. Seeing such a committed couple make it 65 years despite problems (like 3 rounds of cancer) totally gives me hope for my marriage and MMD!

Right before christmas this year I lost my wallet containing all the tips i made that month. i was really upset because i worked extra hours so i could pay bills and go christmas shopping. I also had the cash my grandma gave me as a present in there too. The other day, my boyfriend reaches between the couch cushions and pulls out my wallet! The unexpected cash bonus and laugh attack we had when he found it really MMD!

I was helping my 3 year old daughter select toys at Chuck E. Cheese's, explaining to her what she could get with her 47 tickets. The mom from the family next to us told the employee to just give us their leftover tickets. I said "Thank you" expecting only a few tickets. The woman gave us 193 tickets!! We were thrilled and my daughter was able to get all the toys she wanted.The kindness of strangers MMD.

Two weeks after being unceremoniously let go by the store I worked in – two months after being assured I'd have a job after the holidays were over – two friends of mine have hired me to do construction on their new house, which is huge and in need of a lot of work. I choose my own hours, days, amount of work, and the best part is the money will not only support me through school but also get my student loan back on track. I fall on my knees in relief because these two MMD.
