Today at ten as I opened the door to let the dog out, a small grey cat ran in. I caught it as it ran under my bed and checked the collar. I called the number and the woman on the other end told me that he had been missing since May and that her family had been devastated. She left work and drove for thirty minutes to retrieve him. Reunions make my day.

Growing up, my cat always slept on my bed with me. After I left for college, she got so angry at me for abandoning her that she wouldn’t let me pet her anymore, let alone sleep with me. I went home this weekend, and for the first time in 5 years, my cat slept with me. IMMD!

My son is confined to a wheelchair and can’t participate in a lot of things because of it. This past weekend we went to an orchard to buy apples and they were offering wagon rides for a small price. He wanted to go but we couldn’t get his chair in the wagon. A couple of men working at the orchard picked him up, chair and all and took him on a long trip around the apple farm. When they returned they unloaded him AND refused to take the wagon ride fee. It MMD and my son was THRILLED.

I helped rescue a sickly kitten a few nights ago & told my bf when he woke up. He said, “Don’t get too attached, we won’t keep him.” I went to take my shower, & when I came out, the kitten was perched on his shoulder, and my boyfriend was singing to him. We have a new kitty, and IMMD!

I had a terrible day at work today, and everything was going wrong. I got a box in the mail- my friend I met online four years ago cared enough to send me ridiculously overpriced rootbeer for Christmas since I’m living overseas and had commented on missing rootbeer floats. Friends like him make my day.
On my drive home from work, I saw two mattresses on the side of the road. A little further down the road, I could see an SUV, then two women walking back toward the mattresses. Instead of being upset about the mattresses flying off, they were laughing hysterically. Their mood tottaly MMD.
