I was in a work accident, and I've been stuck at home waiting for the spinal surgery I need. I woke up this morning in pain that brought tears to my eyes. I turned on my laptop and went to ICHC. There was the cutest kitteh shadow-boxing the TV — it made me laugh through my tears. Good medicine IMMD!
The other day, a bus pushed through a road gateway when it was my priority. The driver realised as he was driving through, and flashed up "Sorry" on the screen on the front of the bus. IMMD!

Today I had to visit Lenscrafters for what feels like the millionth time this year. My son is autistic and totally destroys his glasses frequently. When they asked if we wanted new lenses with the new frames I blinked back tears and said quietly, "We can't afford that, we can barely afford the frames." The technician looked at the computer screen and said, "You have quite a file here with him. Tell you what, I'll throw new lenses in for free." and it totally MMD!

First I should say that I'm a 20something girl with bright green hair. Today at wafflehouse, it was really crowded and one of the regulars, a conservative older man who chain smokes, asked if he could share my booth. We spent the meal discussing his time in Vietnam and how scary and beautiful the jungle was. Not a moment was spent on the politics of it and he listened to my college-earned knowledge of the ecosystem with interest. IMMD
My friend is a singer and just 20 minutes ago she was on stage and her boyfriend interrupted her and said,"Yo Lisa, I am really happy for and imma let you finish, but you are one of the best girlfriends of all time! OF ALL TIME" and he bent down and asked her to marry him! She said it's better than a VMA!!!! IMM(and lisa and jeremy's)D!!

I used to be a belly dancer and the troupe I belonged to would often perform for free at hospice care facilities. After one such performance the staff sent us pictures they'd taken and one man in a wheelchair had the biggest grin on his face. The staff wrote on the back that it wasa the first time he'd smiled all year … it was the Christmas party. IMM(and his)YEAR!

Yesterday while I was waiting for the trolley a woman sat down next to me on the bench, and she had this lovely little black tom-kitten with a homemade knit harness. She said she'd found him in a homeless camp. She didn't have much money, only 60 cents till her check came in, but she was going to spend it on catfood for the kitten. I had a couple of ones and I gave them to her. She was so glad to have them and IMMD.
