Bull, the money was left with the intent to make someones day brighter. It wasn’t to try to help charity. Buy yourself that cookie or something and perhaps repeat the cycle.
Put it on the biz , mbe three year cyc. might change. cook it as to area. Donate it as above, but flinging it down a well?

My wife and I randomly buy a marine dinner anyway. If we are in a restaurant and see a marine eating alone, we quietly and anonymously buy his meal for him.

I had a grouchy friend named Roger who did something like this all the time. If he know his (grown up) son or his wife were having a bad day, he would drop a crumpled up dollar or two while walking through the yard or shop. He know one of them would find it and their day would be just a little bit brighter.

In Vancouver BC canada there was a whole family
(Father, mother, and 2 children, aged 15 and 17 IIRC maybe younger don’t exactly recall)
But every week they would all place 20$ around the city or something like that, in small bags of change (usually amounting in 2-5$ per bag) with a little note similar to this, they’ve done it for quite awhile now (over a year) and when i read that story in the paper, i was quite impressed with how some people can be truly decent =P
Every year on my dad’s death anniversary, my mom buys food from McDonalds and we drive around all afternoon giving food to the homeless. It gives me such joy when I see the happiness on their faces, and I make a promise to myself that I’d do it once in a while but I never did.

yeah, we had that though they got pissed at the snobbery as to some areas do and it went. Good way to have make see.
