While driving in town, a SUV in front of my had taped a cutout of a hand with the words “Hi!” on it. Everytime they stopped, they turned on their back wiper and waved to the person behind them.

Typos happen in places where you can’t always re-edit. Consider it Empirical English and a lesson to always get 8 hours of sleep.
