Today I got my 5-year-old’s first masterpiece from first grade. It was the traditional “What I want to be when I grow up” sheet. On the Sheet:
“I want to be a…
‘Geek’
Because…
‘Geeks rock’
IMMD!!!!

I hope that someday when I have children that they are as awesome as your daughter.
She didn’t say which sex the kid was….
STALKER
HAHAHAHA! No, She was right. My five-year-old is a girl. But still…
No to be honest even i assumed it was a girl.
must have been the “rock” part.
Why is your five year old in first grade? That means kindergarten when he was 4; no wonder he wants to be a geek!
There are two stages of kindergarten (at least where I live there are). Junior and senior. So that means that the kid started school at age three. In the public school I went to, it was actually fairly common for kids to start at three, but more common for them to start at age four.
I think there is just one where I am, or at least there was only one when I was a kid.
your child is wise
probably you should not let your child watch the big bang theory every day lol
Here’s hoping the kid doesn’t mean the biting the heads off of live chickens kind of geek…
Dude, geeks don’t do that. You’ve got geeks mixed up with crackheads, crackhead.
No, actually, that IS the dictionary definition of the word, as my mother is wont to remind me.
True dat.
F**k, I need to check her references!
Smart kid.
I always tell people that when I grow up I plan to be a woman.
(Yeah, I borrowed that from Rush Limbaugh. I just don’t feel like getting into my ambitions with people I’ve just met.)
i think that deserves framing
The Geek(s) shall inherit the earth!!!
eventually a “geek” will one day be your boss
Your child is the awesome, haha, and will grow up to take over the world.
ugh, she oughta be my age, heh.
