TBraginski’s Little Moment of Win

A bunch of my family went to go see Toy Story 3. We all got there a little late and had to sit kind of separated from each other. My dad ended up sitting next to a little girl. She looked up at him and in complete seriousness, asked “Are you going to strangle me?” IMMD

To which he gave a creepy smile and replied, “Yes.”

  2. emptyshell says:

    wtf? is that a reference? i haven’t seen TS3 yet…

    • ME says:

Ive seen it, and I sure dont remember anything about anyone being strangled…sounds like a slightly paranoid kid to me!

  3. Sangelia says:

kinda sad that she has that. but with perverts like my ex. it is best to do make sure our kids learn stranger dangers.

    • Dodom says:

Relative from hell eh? I know your pain.

      • geekgirl says:

LOL, don’t we all. Try having your friend who’s a video editor for the local news calling you to ask “do you know a *insert name*?” and having to say “yes, what have they done now?”
I used to get approached by creepers in theatres all the time, it’s better she be aware of the possibility, as long as she’s not so paranoid she assumes anyone sitting down next to her is automatically a threat. There’s paranoid, and there’s just sensible.

  4. Mike says:

    That’s just sad.

  5. Molly says:

That’s pretty sad, actually. I mean, your kids should be aware of potential dangers, but it’s a bit depressing that that’s their first thought when a stranger sits next to them in a packed movie theater.

    • Kitabare says:

There’s a big difference between a stranger sitting next to you in a theater, and an older man coming in to a “kids” movie and sitting by himself next to a child. If she didn’t see him come in with the group she had a good reason to be worried.

  6. Prior Semblance says:

Sounds more like the girl has some bad parents or at the very least parents that are overly concerned about strangers =/

  7. Penny says:

I would guess that what this girl probably has instead of over protective parents is at least one older brother who likes to scare her. My brothers had me convinced at that age that I was going to be attacked by bigfoot anytime we went out in the woods or be eaten by a shark when we swimming in the lake.

  8. JJfailings says:

Oh my god, people are totally over reacting about this. Some kids just come out with random things, okay? No need to be like “That’s so sad! That kid needs to know about paedophiles!”. I hate people like that, it gets on my nerves!

  9. Chuck says:

    “Only if you ask nicely.”
