Would’ve loved to have been there for that.
Naaaaaah nah nah nah-nah-nah naaaah, nah-nah-nah naaaah, Hey, Jude!
Best. Band. EVER!
BEATLES 4EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How can anyone give this a thumbs down. Seeing this in NYC would have been great!
People underestimate the charm of a run-on sentence. I think it really helps your message get across. /sarcasm.
Seriously. A semicolon would have done it.
So the only reason people thumb it down is because they are grammar Nazis?
Sigh…
I DEMAND A YOUTUBE VIDEO!
One of the best IMMDs I’ve seen so far!
Wow- I was there too!! That just MMD!

was it this?
Was this just today? If so, it’s happened more than once.
Apparently so … we have at least 2 vids now of what seem to be 2 different happenings. This is 2 cool!!!!!!!!!!
Wish I’d been there!!! Just hearing about it MMD!
If anybody finds a UToob vid, please link! Surely SOMEONE had a phone on!?
Were you here?
a quickly google search revealed this to me too lol
FAB!!!!!!!
I find this awesome.
I also managed to get my whole science class singing Hey Jude
Take a sad song and make it better~ cheers!
That would have been awesome to experience. Especially the “Naaaa-na-na-na-na” parts. If I was there, I would have done that part at the top of my lungs.
Anyone who gave this a thumbs-down, or doesn’t like the Beatles, doesn’t know good music. They wouldn’t know good music if it came up and slapped them in the face, bent them over a barrel, and had its way with them.
“…if it came up and slapped them in the face, bent them over a barrel, and had its way with them”
Isn’t that what jazz does? :^D
when done right my friend. When done right..
If they started playing Bollywood songs, maybe everyone would have broken out in dance.
Having been a subway rider for 19 years, I can tell you what a rare and wonderful event that would be to witness & take part in. Thanks for sharing! IMMD too!
I swear I saw that on you tube! Would’ve loved to be there!!
Way back in an era called the 80′s I was a tourist taking the Staten Island Ferry to kill time on the 4th of July. There was a guy playing the guitar in the seating area and not getting much attention. I asked him if he knew The Who’s “Squeezebox”, which he did, I asked him to play. I started singing rather loudly (Had some liquid courage). People started gathering around, in fact the seats were all empty. As I didn’t really know all of the choruses I stopped singing and someone said, “Hey, it’s my daughters birthday, lets sing Happy Birthday” and we did, then you hear an older Italian gentleman start saying “I pledge allegiance…” (If you heard him you knew he was Italian) and this big crowd of people started saying the Pledge of Allegiance. I swear right after the fireworks started and you could see the Statue of Liberty behind scaffolding (Being worked on at the time). It was awesome.
I wish I was there for the subway sing.
Your post MMD!
seconted.
I was there! So much fun, I’m not sure my day could have been better haha

The Meetles are the underground Beatles tribute band that performs weekend evenings in Times Square, Herald Square and Penn Station. Check out the website for times and locations (www.meetles.com – Shows) and Social media channels – MeetlesVideos on YouTube, Meetles on Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.
Hi folks – it’s great to find folks talking about these underground happenings! (I’m one of the band members).
The clip embedded above is from a MEETLES show back in February (I believe February 6th). This was really the first weekend when the whole sing-a-long craze started up in earnest.
The MEETLES play each weekend at different subway stations (this Saturday we’ll be at Times Square again). Please check meetles.com for a list of upcoming appearances.
