glad it made ur day… i do it all the time for people on my block… mainly for the elderly… got the snow blower out and working… mite as well do the whole street…
I have a neighbor that does that on my street. I was eating breakfast before heading out to shovel the drive and hear the snowblower running. Thinking it sounded too loud to be nextdoor I go to the window and see my neighbor snoblowing my driveway. If you’re my neighbor thanks! And if you’re not thanks on behalf of your neighbors!
Take him/her out a hot plate of fresh pancakes some morning, or invite them in for it.
I wish one of my neighbors would… I’m 9 weeks pregnant and have severe morning sickness but my hubby is stationed across the country so he cant just fly home to shovel for me

Same thing happened to me Wednesday–my wimpy roommate who’s always afraid she’ll keel over dead if she does any physical exertion shoveled the driveway AND sidewalks!

my hubby had insomnia the last time it snowed. he knows that a neighbor has to be picked up at 5am for dialysis so he shoveled their sidewalk and ours and the walks for 2 other people all at 3am.

Now why when i live in a neighborhood with dozens of kids nobody will surprise me like that when my dad throws me a show shovel? And i have a LARGE driveway!!!! (unfortunately not large enough to buy a frickin’ snow blower)
I did this for a neighbor one time but when I found out I would’nt get to tap that ass it totally was’nt worth it. Think before you act!
You know, it’s not really done with good intentions if you’re expecting a reward.

I really only had one “intention” in mind when I did it. Yea she was aware, when I finished I told her what I expected in return. I felt so cheated.
