Just like walking by PC displays and seeing the blue screen of death on one of the monitors. Ah, Microsoft, shall you never fail to be a source of amusement?
haha! I used to work at a video game store, I was the lone microsoft fangirl in the place (yeah yeah, say what you will I still love my 360).
I took a week off for my wedding and the very first day I was gone our display box red ringed. A co-worker sent me a photo of it w/a message saying:
“I think it thought you left forever and couldn’t stand the thought of the abuse to come in your absence so it killed itself.”
I used to work at Walmart in the Electronics department.. We went through at least 5 360s in the two years I worked there, and two different PS3s. Hilarious, but not uncommon, sadly.
Isn’t the fix a larger heat sink or by then is it too late? I never bought one
oh microsoft you’re so retarded

I was going to write something similar to that. Microsoft is so amusing on displays
Did Microsoft created 81 accounts just to post this down?
They’re called “fanboys” and “prostitutes”
And ‘tards who vote everything down just for kicks.

lol!!! coincidentally, while working at Gamestop, most of our Boxes red ringed at one point or another
oh, and I love my 360 too. it’s really not an inferior system, as much as the PS3 fanboys like to think it is.
For someone who’d work at a game retailer, you’d expect employees to at least not call customers fanboys.
Retail staff are people too, and they are just as judgemental as everybody else
There’s been a PSP display at the mall for ages that won’t power on.
The best buy down the street from my house had a rrod xbox for a month last week they replaced it and yesterday when i went in it was rrod again
That’s what happens when you let so many people press your buttons. Next time wrap before you tap.

Too bad it wasn’t a Wii. Then I would’ve said: Huston, Wii have a problem. (See what I did there?!)
Too bad you misspelled Houston.
And too bad that was stupid. Puns are rarely cool. Especially when you have to point them out.
Happened at my store too; to BOTH of the displays XD
Maybe it was trying to blend in by emulating the store logo.
This is alarmingly common, really.

A demo system that’s on constantly inside a little box overheats and dies? Say it isn’t so!
It’s actually a rather large box that has a hole in the back.
it could easily fit one or two of the original Xbox, and that’s saying something.
Unless, of course, they use different displays at Target.
