My little foster brother was playing on the floor while me and my mom talked about the ASL class I had just started. My foster brother looked up, said I know sign language and flashed the sign for I love you. I was about to go “aww” when he flung his hands to the side and shouted “SPIDERMAN!!!”. IMMD

… Meh. I’m not impressed. Now if he could walk up the wall with his hands, *and* explain how he does that through a suit, then it would maybe make my day. – The Ramen Noodle

Actually it’s explained how he does it through the suit.
The fabric is just very thin, so he can stick to the walls:)

Yeah! Foster families rule! My family fosters kids too.

  5. Rich says:

What’s the sign for “You’re not my real parents! I hate you!”? You’ll need that in a few years.

  6. library_girl says:

@Rich: dude, thats a little harsh, don’t you think? ease up a little bit.

    • The Other Side says:

Actually he’s spot on. IMO you’re not a good parent if at some point in their teenage years your kids (foster or not) don’t say “I hate you!”

  7. Jess says:

I admit I had to make the sign and see why that was funny. Of course, once I did, I giggled for about ten minutes straight. Good luck with the class!

  8. Purplecolors says:

He meant I love you in spidey language <3

  9. hcw says:

No, I’m going with cute. Everyone loves Spidey.

  10. Jo says:

I take ASL too, and now I will never be able to use that sign again without giggling like an idiot. Good luck in class!
