Who is Horde?
In the popular multi-player online video game World of Warcraft, the two “sides” are the Alliance and the Horde. People can choose to play either side against the other one. Clearly somebody couldn’t help themselves here
Kristen, you’re my hero! I find it funny that everyone who plays the game is classified as “virgin” or “nerd”, along with a number of other unpleasant titles, but what people don’t realize is that over 12 million people play this game… not really a minority anymore. Not sure why I bothered typing all this… Hurray WoW! =]

I’d say that 12 million people playing = popular game.
Actually, they did a study. Since the advent of the MMORPG, the percentage of online gamers who are female has been rising. Seems that the gender balance has actually evened out to near 50-50 over the past few years.
I for one welcome women playing MMORPGs. More real games for the rest of us.
That’s mostly because of the social and collecting aspects of MMO’s. I knew several when I played WoW.

I’m sure that the Alliance would if anyone would name their company anything with the word “Horde” in it. It doesn’t exactly sound all that appealing to get anything from a horde of salespeople. Sends the wrong message.

I happen to be a Hordie, but Cerberus > Alliance as well.
I play alliance and my good friend and her hubby play horde and when their son was born I got him a Future Alliance onsie. I think he wore it once. Once.
It’s prolly a good thing I’m not abut to have a baby after all, turn around is fair play.
And love the browncoat comments. I didn’t get to watch that series until after it as DVD (didn’t even know about it!). Saw the movie liked it, saw the episodes, really liked it, watched the movie again and cried.
