I think its a great parenting tool, personally. My mother was very strict and never allowed me to swear, therefore I did it every chance I felt it necessary. I think giving your child the option to let it all out can be healthy, as long as its not directed towards anyone and all that…
agreed! My parents did this (basically letting me do almost whatever I want, I still had my limits though – and what I did have limits on I would scheme to go around). I’m actually quite normal and a nice person these days. Their leniency allowed me to form my own opinions on things and decide what I wanted to do.
